Rob Krolikiewicz is Director of Investigations for TruView. He directs the operations of over 80 investigators, implementing operational strategies and ensuring fulfillment of contact requirements. Rob is a 20-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps, retiring in 2011 with the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 3. His extensive expertise includes counterintelligence and human intelligence (CI/HUMINT); physical and technical surveillance operations; counter-surveillance; investigations; and interrogations. From 1994 to 1997, Rob served as Assistant Detachment Commander for a 10-member team of Marine embassy guards in protection of embassies in Honduras and Germany. Assigned to the Naval Warfare Development Group in Virginia as a USMC Counterintelligence Agent from 1999 to 2003, he generated CI estimates, threat and vulnerability assessments, intelligence information reports, and terrorist group profiles; conducted CI force protection source operations, debriefs, surveillance, and interrogations; and provided briefings for personnel traveling overseas.
From 2003 to 2006, he was assigned to lead and manage a nine-member USMC CI/HUMINT team tasked with locating, targeting, and mitigating foreign intelligence collection efforts and hostile forces working against U.S. and Coalition forces during Operation Iraqi Freedom. These operations coincided with combat operations in support of Marine Expeditionary Forces. He and his team identified and mitigated a large operation in Al Anbar Province, Iraq, from which insurgents were manufacturing improvised explosive devices (IEDs); these actions significantly reduced terrorist capabilities in the province.
As Technical Operations Officer in Charge, Rob managed a technical operations team in support of Department of Defense strategic-level and Special Forces operators. His many duties in this capacity included planning and directing over 50 sensitive/closed technical operations while deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, and other locations worldwide; managing a $3million inventory of sensitive technical collection equipment; and developing an over-the-horizon, satellite-based, technical capability, which resulted in the enhancement of collection efforts for Department of Defense assets. Upon his retirement and before joining Summit/TruView in 2015, Rob served as a technical operations consultant for a Fortune 500 technology /defense contract firm. He received extensive training during his career in investigative technologies, operations, and management. He maintains active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
