TruView’s Lisa Worgull Honored with PBSA Volunteer of the Month Award
Lisa Worgull, Head of Organizational Knowledge at TruView BSI, LLC, has been recognized as the Professional Background Screening Association’s (PBSA) Volunteer of the Month for September 2024. This accolade highlights her exceptional contributions to the background screening industry and her unwavering dedication to advancing professional education and collaboration.
Lisa has been an active member of PBSA since its early days, driven by a passion for information sharing and professional development. She currently serves as the co-chair of the Educational Resources Committee, a position she has held for over five years. This committee is instrumental in sourcing and scheduling monthly webinars and assisting in the selection of conference sessions, ensuring that PBSA remains a leading source of expert knowledge in the screening profession.
Lisa is a key subject matter expert in TruView’s Background Screening Division, with over 25 years of background screening industry experience and expertise. She has been with TruView for over 14 years, serving from 2017 to 2023 as Managing Director of its Background Screening Division and, from 2011 to 2017, as Director of Background Screening. Lisa has been instrumental in TruView’s rise as a leader in the background screening industry. She has extensive experience and expertise in background screening operations, legal compliance, client and vendor relationships, quality control, screening technologies and implementation, background screening database design and analysis, team building, and policy development.
Previous to TruView, Lisa was a senior manager for a well-regarded West Coast background screening firm, specializing in background investigations for many of the top law and accounting firms in the United States, as well as banks, asset-based lenders, private equity entities, and other professional companies. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from California State University at Los Angeles.
