The TruView Team will attend the upcoming VETCON 2019 on November 19 – 20 at the Desmond Hotel and Conference Center in Albany, New York.

Building on three previous successful conferences, this year’s Veterans in Economic Transition Conference (VETCON) brings together veterans, business owners, and government agencies for two days of education, networking, and employment and business opportunities. Some 300 sponsor partners, more than 130 New York State agencies, over 100 Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses, and veterans from across New York will attend. Many veterans take advantage of the VETCON 2019 Job Fair on the event’s second day to connect with businesses looking to improve their companies with qualified veterans.

Founded in 2016 by the Tulley Rinckney Foundation, VETCON 2019 continues the groundbreaking private – public partnership that assists veterans in transitioning from service to everyday civilian and business life, focusing on providing tools, resources and support. The VETCON Alliance is a collective of representatives from various private and public organizations who plan and execute the conference each year. Previous alliance members have included Living Resources, Equitable Value LLC, the Veteran Business Outreach Center (VBOC), the University at Albany’s Center for Advancement & Understanding of Social Enterprises (CAUSE), University at Albany’s Division of Research, Direct Impact Associates LLC, Arsenal Business and Technology Partnership, the New York State office of General Services Service (OGS)-Disabled Veterans’ Business Development Division, Innovate 518 and the American Red Cross.
