TruView BSI, LLC has been approved a Recertification Provider by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). With this approval, SHRM members earning their SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP credentials will eligible for Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for completing TruView’s Professional Webinar Series events and other educational offerings.

The approval is based on TruView’s demonstrated ability to meet SHRM’s Body of Competency and Knowledge (“BoCK^TM“) requirements, which recognizes pre-employment screening as an essential functional area for human resources professionals. The BoCK system describes describe the behavioral competencies and knowledge that HR professionals need for effective job performance.

TruView launched the first webinar of its Professional Webinar Series on Tuesday, February 18. Offered as a free service to Clients, the webinar series seeks to provide unique, live content delivered by industry experts to inform and education on background screening and related professional services. Topics are chosen with private- and government-sector human resource professional in mind.

The first in the TruView webinar series, “Key Considerations in Developing Compliant, Effective Workplace Drug Screening Policies,” was attended by over 70 HR professionals and was by all accounts a success. Numerous attendees received the SHRM credit for this webinar class. The second installment on I-9 Compliance is scheduled for April 2020. Stay tuned for details!
