Lisa Worgull is the Managing Director of Background Screening Services. She is a subject matter expert in background screening and the background screening industry as a whole, including with respect to laws governing Consumer Reporting Agencies, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
The key operational manager for TruView’s background screening operations, Lisa has 20 years of relevant experience, encompassing strategic program and policy development, regulatory compliance, Client relationship management, quality control, contract compliance, vendor partnerships, technology management, platform design and analysis, and team building.
From 2011 to 2017, Lisa was the Director of Background Screening for Summit Security Services, Inc. In that role, she was a key figure in expanding the Client portfolio to what now stands at over 500 TruView Clients across wide range of industries and government agencies.
Prior to TruView and Summit, Lisa was a senior manager for Scherzer International of Woodland Hills, California, a firm specializing in background investigations for 25 of top 50 law and accounting firms in the United States, as well as banks, asset-based lenders, private equity entities, and other professional companies. Lisa managed the firm’s pre-employment screening, background investigations, and technical services departments, and, subsequently, as its manager for quality control. In the latter position, she designed and implemented a centralized company resource center and corporate workflow database to automate, track, manage, and assess each investigation from start to finish.
Lisa is an active member of the National Association of Professional Background Screeners and serves on its Educational Committee and Government Relations Committee. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from California State University at Los Angeles.
